dr. Edmi, Ph.D is a distinguished associate professor with a specialization in the intersection of neuroscience and applied science through research based innovation. Serving as an academician at the Institute for Leadership, Innovation, and Advancement at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, and as the Director of the Neuroscience Institute at Universitas Prima Indonesia, dr. Edmi’s expertise spans neurosurgery, clinical neuroscience, neuropsychology, and neural engineering, with a particular focus on applying neuroscience to enhance leadership, marketing, and educational practices. His academic journey began in medicine at Andalas University, followed by advanced studies in neurosurgery at Jichi Medical University in Japan. dr. Edmi has made significant contributions to both academic research and practical applications, earning international recognition as a visiting researcher at BRIN’s Public Policy Research Center and as a former Director of the Neuroscience Center at Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka. His work, employing cutting-edge neuroimaging technologies, has been pivotal in advancing neuroleadership, exploring objective, bias-free approaches to leadership. A prolific author and inventor, dr. Edmi holds several intellectual property rights and research publications, solidifying his role as a leading figure in merging neuroscience in daily life and innovation, and shaping the future of both fields in academic and professional circles.
